Help! Peachtreee accounting in linux

the company i'm working for is currently in the process of migrating to linux from windows. does the peachtree accounting software works on linux?

According to WineHQ's AppDB page (here), Peachtree 8 is compatible with Wine (see this page).

I have no idea whether later versions will work with Wine, and have no idea how to configure them to work with Wine. Those would be excellent questions for the one of the Wine mailing lists or the Wine IRC chat channel (which you can find info about here).
