Heat emissions?

I am trying to calculate the heat emissions for each of my servers. I have to provide this info to my HVAC guy so he can properly configure my new server-room.

I have mostly IBM equipment and have checked their site for such info. I was only given a "heat emission" numeric for one of my servers. Nada for the rest of them...

Anyone have any insight they can lend me in this one?

Regards...

Moved: Not a Linux technical question, more suitable in General.

I would think that your HVAC guy would at least be able to tell you how to calculate such a thing...

What unit of measure is the heat emission number given in?

Any competant mechanical engineer will be much more helpful with this than an HVAC "guy"
