having a good time:)

I've been on my annual leave for the last couple of days. I was forced to use it before the end of the year. As I've already been on 'real' holidays this year I'm going to do 'nothing' this week. And you know what: it's very productive. I have checked all possible window managers and (I discovered LXDE - it's pretty quick). I've learnt more python in the last two days than I did in the last 5 months. I also set up my mini audio studio at home - finally plugged in my guitar and played with ardour and rosegarden (I'm still trying to get my edirol midi keyboard to work with rosegarden). Also I learnt a few new songs on the guitar. So to put it simply, I'm having a really good time. I go to bed around 5 in the morning, wake up around 1 o'clock in the afternoon. It's been a really productive time.
It would be brilliant to have one week off every month!

edit: and I also managed to practise my (doubtful) photography skills

Don't worry, our brains are more than capable of acquiring new pieces of information (especially after a few glasses of Cabernet Savignon)

Sounds great. I work my schedule so that I take a week or so every 4-6 weeks (am on one of those breaks now). It is very refreshing.
