1. It's a joke. Deal with it.

2. when I tried to access the page, first I got a blurred image (sufficient to read the offending line tho'); then the page timed out with a 'corrupted file' error. Really gives one confidence

3. Is there anyone out there who's actually installed the distro and seen it for themselves?

J.

*still* looking forward to Mandy 9.1 powerpack...hey, this was the distro that was going to mark my final leavetaking from Windoze, so don't knock it ... too hard...

Yeah I know all about mandy's drawbacks but I'm having fun out here, OK ?

I took the screenshot myself, and it's hosted on my free web space, which explains why it timed out.

I think it's funny! That's why I posted it. Please don't think I'm razzing on Mandrake, because that's not it at all! It's actually my favorite distro.

cheers Guitargeek! I'll look forward to seeing it for myself - maybe I'm an eedjeet but I just ordered 9.1 from Mandrake, *paid money for it*, in order to support the distro...I wonder when/if it'll ever arrive...

Oh and I support Oxford United too

Mandrake. They're French. They're hippies. And they release buggy 'final' versions (d'you think Supermount will *ever* work?). But I love'em anyway

Yeah, I put my pre-order in as well, but I just couldn't wait

Supermount has always worked great for me, though, no complaints. I see you're using 9.0... Did you ever upgrade your kernel? They released a new one where supermount was completely overhauled... 2.4.19-24 is memory serves.

I just saw it...what a riot!

Esp. when I figure I use the command line a lot more in Mandrake than I ever did before...
