Well East Asia is already in 2011, and actually New Zealand was the first to already ring in the new year.

Yes, but are there any LQ members who posted in this thread from Japan or New Zealand? If not, then how come this thread wasn't posted later tonight?

And honestly, the OP is from India. India from what I've heard celebrates the new year after Japan, China, New Zealand and Australia, that's for sure.

Alexvader is clearly from Japan so...

And there is at least one LQ member from New Zealand (mRgOBLIN - also a Slackware contributor )

Okay then. But as said before, India (linuxlover.chaitanya's home country), last I checked, celebrates the new year long after Japan or New Zealand.
