Off the book topic (warning DavidMcCann :D jk) I just saw a movie although I wish it were a book The Red Violin has a run through China's history (slightly latter than both WWs) where once again the Violin of Antonio Stradivari is almost destroyed...

Seen it. Continued off topic. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0451966/ It is killer also.

Back on topic.

Classics for me:

Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein (also a killer song by Leon Russel By the way, who I met and shook hands with when he toured with Johnny Winter)

A Scanner Darkly by Philip K. Dick

Like I said earlier. I gotta be entertained and sit still long enough to finish a book. Though I do make exceptions when friends write something. http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/cof...-new-book.html

A novel about the JFK assassination, since it will shortly be the 50th Anniversary: Libra, by Don DeLillo.
(And, yes, I do believe there was a conspiracy.)
