any country can claim they are looking for a terrorist, and then
could any lawyer in any country in the world order google to hand data?

Until the Patriot Act (a ghoulish misnomer if ever there was one ...) is repealed, in the United States you are very much "presumed guilty," if someone decides to attach the "T"-word to you.

Right now, as a nation and maybe even as a world community, we've all acquired the ability to collect all sorts of trivial information about one another, and we've got Top Men collecting it and pawing through it for all sorts of imagined purposes. Like a kid in a candy store.

Quite in the contrary. Google shouldn't support police states.
