I've looked around for the answer to this question but can't seem to find it anywhere. I just wanted to know if the passwords on the various protocols in gaim are encrypted before they are sent to the server.

Sorry for posting in the wrong forum... I guess I wasn't sure what would be responsible for the encryption. I have looked around and still can't find this information (about whether the AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, and MSN profiles encrypt the login passwords). Does anyone have any ideas about this?
