Odd you should choose XP, because I've never had any problems with it. 98, 95, yeah, but not XP...

Pretty good, but they could do better if they added the parts about MS sending info back to themselves, their intention to make you pay monthly fees to use your own computer, their software not being compatible with anything developed outside of MS's "campus".

Now? They've been doing that for a while. Other countries aren't real happy about some of the data sent to MS under the pretext of "user satisfaction", although I must confess that I've only read the stories, not investigated them myself. (This is a bit hard, as I haven't had Windows on a personal machine of mine since mid-1999.) I believe there have been a few legal situations with this as well, but I'm too lazy to google it for now. Feel free to prove me wrong.

I don't see how there could be any "legal" situation, since using Windows is a choice on the part of the individual user.

Okay, funny picture, but lets steer this topic back on course as we don't yet need another M$ bashing thread, etc. We have enough of those already.

Regards.

Yes, true enough, trickykid, but I must say without hesitation that overstatement of the reprehensible performance of doz = a reprehensible performance of a closed source OS at such ^^$$ would open your own thoughts to its absurd worthless uselessness to a forked over public that has been A** rap** by this crap WAY too long 'nuff said, re: my other posts Oh, It's True, It's True! /End/rant/end/bin/laden/other-idiots/var/log/core-dump!
