The Bible is full of quotes that are comparable to those in the Quran, please do not think that it is the only religion that asks for violence to be visited on the unbeliever.

Sheeple, which is a crap word in itself, is used by people who believe Glenn Beck and Infowars implicitly and without question about people who do not. Sheeple appear to come in all shapes and sizes, n'est-ce pas?

I agree with both. But sheeple do exist. They move as one, they think as one, point them off a cliff and they will all jump as one ... they are the sheeple. I agree that Glenn Beck, Alex Jones, and others are shepherds too, and they have their herds. Sheeple are the weapons of Sauron. Try not to be one.

If you want you can call them the armies of Mordor ... is that a better term ?

Oh, and may I ask, what was Hassan wielding ? A minigun, an MG3, a SAW ?

And what did he say before he did it ... was it "Say hello to my little friend !".

He might just have said: "I Am In Your Base Killing Your D00ds..."

Seriously, he supposed to have said "Allahu Akbar!", but like a lot of the current information about this incident, it is mostly hear-say and speculation at this point. He might "just" have snapped like the one in Orlando.

Just thought that I would give the links to a discussion forum in India about this same topic.

http://news.in.msn.com/international...&ucpg=2#uc2Lst

and also the other side of the koran (in the same forum).

Quote:
"On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land. (The Noble Quran, 5:32)"

"But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things). (The Noble Quran, 8:61)"

"God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes. God loves just dealers. (The Noble Quran, 60:8)"

"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy handhold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things. (The Noble Quran, 2:256)"
and about forced conversions (a sensitive subject here).

Quote:
"Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to God's will) in Islam. Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge (undeceive them). (The Noble Quran, 15:2-3)"

"Say, 'The truth is from your Lord': Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it):......(The Noble Quran, 18:29)"

"Say : O ye that reject Faith! I worship not that which ye worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. To you be your Way, and to me mine. (The Noble Quran, 109:1-6)"
So My Dear Brother... Do your Home Work Before Writing Any Thing Agains Any Religion. Dnt Write If U Dnt Have Any Knowledge..
If you follow the thread, you will observe that the poster is admonishing provocative persons who dont see it as 12 people dead.

End

No matter what anyones Opinion; this War will continue until it's inevitable
conclusion
Which will be yet another Global War, wherein our "Great" leaders will once
again throw us headlong into a war that most do not want.

I was in the 1st war with Iraq
knew many nice Muslims who did not wish me any harm

However; Iran & Afghanistan are not Iraq

The Muslims, the radicals
will sooner or later unite under a common religious leader
Russia will provide them all with support
Israel will be the target
along with the US

China, needing the fuel
will have some issues with this Russian/Muslim federation

Meanwhile the US & the European nations will sooner, soon
form under the new Global government

...and then its all in from there

Maybe we'll live thru it?

Yeah, but what if long ago Sauron gave rings to the leaders of Middle Earth. Then he forged the one ring to rule them all. They became his ring wraiths. Now all that you are watching are the orders Sauron gives to his wraiths.

The Ring will not be destroyed will it?

I think it is sad that trickykid's original post to commemorate dead and injured at his place of work has degenerated to a pointless and unresolvable discussion about politics and religion. I also believe Jeremy should remove all posts except the original one and close this thread.

Exactly. It's actually the worst of all possible cases. No Frodo, no Sam, no armies of Gondor or Rohan or Rivendell, the ring is still with Sauron, Sauron lives, his armies are gathered, and the only thing that can stop him now is an error on his part that may mobilize a resistance ... maybe.

I'm always down with the resistance baby!

and I apologize about the thread drift.
Hopefully a solution can be found as this problem
between Muslims and US/Israel will continue
until one or the other are destroyed/subjugated.

Sorry but I just had to laugh at that one. Russia would never allow a muslim country such support, either in arms, or even nuclear arms. Sure they are supplying Iran with material, but don't think that Russia will give Iran a free hand. In case you also didn't know, majority of Russia is Orthodox Christian, if that means anything to you, and they also had their own wars againsts muslims, so don't be so quick to think that they don't have their own ideas about how to deal with them.

He can get the death penalty just for attempted murder on the officer that took him down when they exchanged fire between each other, at least to my understanding.

I think for someone like this that essentially didn't expect to live during their rampage, it would be more torturous to just slap them in a 6x6 foot cell with no window for the rest of their life, maybe make them stare at the dead victims on their wall until they rot in their cell.

Giving such a person the death penalty is exactly what they wanted more than likely.
