Indian culture sux!
My whole life I've getting good grades! Recently though as entered year 11 (when I have to do my IGCSEs) my grades have started to fall! Not by much maximum from A to B and that too only in a few subjects. But this little fall costed me a lot. And today I got my first report. One C only in Physics. And I got a B for Business while on the end of halfterm exam I got a 95% percent mark. But no the reports were written before the exam. Now why am I writing this? Oh well I forgot to tell you that at the moment I am awaiting my execution from my father who will come in less than 2 hours. And what has this got to do with Indian culture, well my father is Indian! And guess what he will ot even listen to what I've got to say, no sir! He won't give a flying fsck at a rolling doughnut why I get B instead of A. Oh and did I tell you that all my friends who at best get Cs are going on concert at the moment.
I've never hated any culture before (well except fundementalism, but thats not really a culture). But today I understood Indian culture sux. I don't want to go to no damn cambridge! I want to lead my own life and enjoy myself! I want to do what I like and when I like. I am sick of studying, I hate school its a waste of time, I have to study all that stuff that I will never need! I've got my economics history and business! I have to live with my parents for another three whole years. Can't wait to leave them....
Can anyone relate?

Yep, I can relate. I am an dutch/pakistani my self, and my folks also were, and still are kinda hard on me when it comes to grades and education.
Your culture doesn't suck! It's just that it demands alot from you, sometimes. I can relate to that.
You know, back in the good old day's when I was 17 or 18 I was in an class full of people wanting to quite school and get a job. Now when I sometimes meet them, they are sorry that they quite school so soon.
Don't hate schools. If you do not get an good education, trust me, life could pretty much suck. Money is every thing man, unfortunaly. Without it, well, what do you do without it? Thank god you have loving parents, but I can relate to you.

I never said that I get Ds and Es did I? The worst I can ever get is a C and that means I am dead. My father treats a single C as if my whole report consisted of E's. I mean what is that? And the worst thing is that friends parents don't care what they get, but they are all rich so that's kind of different. Anyway I will probably hide the report from him!

I know your speaking about your father but please refrain from calling all or referring to the whole Indian race as them sucking or what not. That is against the rules of our site.
I ask you please to either edit or rephrase your posts regarding this or this thread will be closed. Just because you don't like your father and how he reacts with your grades gives you no reason to hate everyone in a particular race or say they suck, etc.
Review the rules and the one in particular about showing racism on this site:

trickykid... where in his post did he mention that the whole Indian race as sucking, or anything along that line... he specifically said Indian culture... which is altogether different. I don't see any racist elements at all in MvD's post.

His whole post is basically against our rules as he is expressing that he hates one particular culture because of his parents.
I understand he is just frustrated with his parents but I'm only doing my job as a moderator to ensure that no one is breaking the rules of this site by following this rule: "Do not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws."
Keyword there is Hate, he is expressing hate in his post.
We Changed his title from "Indians suck" to what it is now. He is expressing hate towards a whole race, regardless of if he is half Indian or full Indian, we don't tolerate this type of talk, posts and threads on this board. Some people might understand that he is expressing anger towards his parents, but others feel he hates them based on their race.
Regards.
PS. I've reported this post to be closed for not abiding by the rules of this site and expressing his anger that will only cause controversy amongst members that might take it the wrong way and offensive.
If you feel indifferent about this, email me or the site admin. And please respect the wishes of my judgements until further notice.
