Go to the address bar of your browser.

Enter: http://www.google.com

If a page appears it has a small rectangle where you can enter text in. It is next to the "Search" button. Then enter this text:
"best free web hosting site"
Then press enter.

The pages next shown will give you a few thousand links.

Depending on what you want to do with the site, a free blogging account may be the way to go.

it depends on how did you build your web site,

plain html,
php with mysql...,
java with say firebird...,
asp...,

this one works quite well if you build your web site with php and mysql.
