Free internet host for Linux Web sites?

I am working on a Web site with some reviews of the basic Linux software as a starting point for new or potential users of Linux who are not very good with computers. All of the Linux sites listing software availability, that I have found, are oriented toward more technical computer users. Most of these sites have entries about software that are edited by the developers, and thus, readers are bombarded with extra information such as Changelogs that are not helpful to newbies. This will include reviews of basic features, highlighting only the most popular and easiest to use applications and games.

Does anyone know of a Web site that would host such a page for free? I do not need a lot of file space and I do not require CGI or other scripting capabilities. There are generic hosts, such as GeoCities, that I might try, but I am wondering if there is a host that specifically caters to Linux material.

I would be willing to help out with this. I've been attempting to get something like this off the ground myself but have not had the time perhaps we could collaberate on something. Or I can provide the hosting.

I should let you know that I will not be starting on this until after December 16th, the end of my semester at University. After that, I will have several months to work on this.

For now, I am just assembling some of the ideas, such as how the site will be structured and how the software will be evaluated and presented.

I am also looking for the "best" software to use. After testing several CD/DVD burning applications for Linux, I have not yet found one that was both stable and easy to use.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you just looking for a web hosting provider? What software are you referring to? Or are you just posting reviews on certain software apps? Whatever your timeframe is fine with me. I already host a couple of sites so it's not a problem to add another one as I everything is already set up.
