Freakin' copy protection in WinXP...

<rant>

Man...What a joke.

I know. I should have been using Linux at the time, but I wasn't.

I had someone in France send me some music that they wanted me to listen to, and when I tried to listen to it, it says that I have to first aquire a license (do a license migration). Mind you, my friend in France owns the dang CD. She just wanted me to listen to a few songs she thought was kool. The files were .wma files.

I cannot listen to 3 of the 4 songs because of this BS. What a joke.

If this is where things are going, the future of computing will suck a$$.

OK, I'm done with my rant.

</rant>

Peace all....
Looks like I need to really spend more time with Linux

Hahahahha!

Happy to say that I'm typing this from my Redhat 8 load on my Laptop. I'm sitting in my living room on the sofa with my Netgear wireless working. I have to say it's good to be back.

Yay !

Just a note...

MPlayer doesn't play anything if you haven't got the right libraries. They are also available from the mplayer.hu site, but you MUST install them in order to play certain files.

I know it is stating the obvious, but hey, sometimes it's needed.
