that story makes it sound like lucifer isn't that bad. like they were best buds that had a difference of opinion, but if lucifer was gods favorite then he cant be that bad.
i can see why that didn't make it into the christian bible.

Bill dies and is greeted by St. Peter. St. Peter says "Now Bill, I'll give you a choice, the computer screen on the left is heaven and the one on the right is hell." Bill looks at the screens and on the left one he sees a bunch of people praying and happy. On the right he sees the most beautiful sight he has ever seen, a picture of a beach and some other things. He tells Saint Peter that he wants to go to Hell. So St. Peter takes him over to Hell and all he sees is fire and and destruction. He asks St. Peter, "This isn't what I saw on the screen." St. Peter laughs and says, "That was just our screensaver"!
It's amazing how many stories we have on the same topic.

Alright, Lucifer said that he would become "Like the most high". He got proud and wanted God's place. So, he took his angles, and rose up against God and fought with God and his angles. Lost, of course, and God cast him out of heaven.
That is what the Bible says, and the Bible is the infalable word of God.
