Foot fell asleep
I usually have my feet under me when I sit at my desk. My foot usually feels tingly when I stand on it, and then it is normal, but yesterday I got up and my foot was still asleep. So my foot bent, w/ all my weight on that foot, causing it to crack, but when I got my foot up again, it happened again. I fell down w/ my chair, OWW! I left my leg alone for the rest of the day and night, waking up today with it felling pretty good.
I just felt like saying this, but I do have question, Why did my foot not wake up all the way? It actually didn't wake up 'till I was recovering on the ground. |
Your foot cracked? Are you sure you didn't break it? Its not swollen is it?
If it dosen't wake up immediately, its because you haven't given enough time for the blood to come back to it. You won't feel pain or the "pins and needles" until your body has time restart circulation in that area. Try falling asleep with your arm above your head. This will produce the same effect after a couple of hours of sleep. |
It made a cracking sound. It didn't hurt like I think a broken foot would be. It's not swollen either. It's kinda cool to walk on a sleeping foot, as long as it kicks back into action after that. I'm able to kinda walk on it now, I still dont put a lot of my weight on it.

It starting to sound like you spend an awfully large time sitting down.
Is that true? |
I spend most of the time sitting here playing games. I also get up to eat, or something. (I'm 13, I don't go to work)
|
I hope you do more than that.
Why, when I was a kid.... |
You could always try NOT sitting on your foot.
:twocents: Its sounds like you've got some .. habits. What else should we know about you? |
Well if you are going to sit at your computer for long periods of time you should at least make yourself comfortable
get a chair like one of these http://www.sunmedical.com.au/default...productlist%23 http://www.kneelsit.com/ they may look strange, but if you dont want to wreck your spine and circulation etc etc go and get one floppy |
Ok, where does your rear go, on that first one?!
|
I use to sit on those goofy looking ones, but since I moved, I got a new desk that doesn't match the chair, and I got carpet. :( They're too expensive anyway. So i'm sticking with my chair. I loved those weird chairs.
You put your rear on the top cushion, and knee+lower part of leg on the lower cushion. Just type in "Kneeling chair" on google images and you can see how you would sit on it. |
Have you ever fell off one of thoughs chairs.
|
Seeing you're so young and glued to the computer kinds of tells a story. You will need some exercise otherwise your health will suffer...
