I was browsing around and clicked on a link here on LQ (I dont remeber the link) and firefox just completely quite, I restarted it and was on another site and clicked a link and the same deal, what gives? This has happened with Opera before on another system but never with firefox. What would cause that?
Firefox spat the dummy- total browser crash
when I was bringing up my homepage
and there was a need for Java virtual machine
which firefox decided wasnt installed
it is
so I'm still using Mozilla 1.7
oh well
it did try and send off a report
but it got lost in the queue
I stopped using opera cuz it would do the same thing, but all the time. Image browsing around and you click on a link and the browser shuts down, It was so darn frustrating.
Thanks for the links. Yea in Opera it had something to do with Java and I eventually fixed it but with firefox I didnt install java at all, Thats probably the problem. Thanks again.
