fgrep error

Hi. I'm using fgrep to to greatly cut down on the time a search is taking. I'm getting an error that would seem to indicate that I'm trying to either search the memory, of, or write a file, to, the memory on my windows 2003 server.

error as follows:
fgrep: /media/hda/pagefile.sys: cannot allocate memory
