GRUB is still in use. Boot your remaining OS installation / system recovery medium (see vendor documentation for 'fixmbr' / 'bootrec') or medium containing testdisk (http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Step_By_Step) and restore / rebuild the Master Boot Record.

You are getting that error because you were booting the system with Grub from Fedora and almost all the Grub files were on the Fedora partition you deleted. Based on your post you seem to want only windows 7 so if the above suggestion doesn't work for you, you should be able to repair the master boot record with your windows 7 installation disk.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? In your first post, you indicated that you deleted the windows8 and fedora partitions. Was that what you intended to do?

A Live image of what? Fedora?

Did you reinstall windows 8? In your initial post you indicate you deleted the partition it was on. What software are you using to do the repair? Do you have a windows 7/8 installation medium?

Windows historically had backward compatible bootloaders so you would always need to install the most recent release last or at least put its boot files in a primary partition. I'm not familiar with windows 8 as I've only used it on Virtualbox.

What exactly is your end goal, booting Fedora, windows 7 and windows 8??
