Why use a service to limit web sites and then ask for a way around it?

As jefro said, the obvious solution to not being bothered by openDNS would be not to use it in the first place. Are their any restrictions that prevent you from using other DNS providers?

But that doesn't prevent you from using a different DNS service, depending on which distro and network manager to use it is as easy as changing the DNS server in /etc/resolv.conf, for example to the Google one (8.8.8.8).

Or is there a filtering proxy involved?
