exited about new distro...
 

i dont know how many of you have heard about this merge.

JAMD and Blue linux recently merged, and became Ares Linux.

i am pretty excited about the whole mergeing idea.
alot of people working together to make one great distro
is better then a bunch of people trying to outdo eachothers distro (not always true).

IMO - the *nix community would be better served by fewer distros, with more people working on them to find and fix the existing bugs.

My opinion on smaller distro's merging, good, it cuts the number of overall distro's out there since I think there are too many to begin with. ;)
