i understand that to install MS Exchage (2003) there should be forest prep and domain prep processes before the actual installation.
now; in my network with 2k3 domain controler (standard edition) and other xp workstations. i installed additional machine with w2k3 server (standard edition) and want to run MS Exchange 2003 (enterprise edition) on it,
now i started forestprep and succesfully completed it with the wizard, and then began the domainprep process; but the problem is that on following the wizard i got to the point i have to select (under Action) what action the wizard will take; now i need to select "Domainprep" here under the drop down menu but such choice is not available. (i can only see Typical, Minimal, Custom)
whats the cause of this? from this point how do i run the domainprep in order to continue the exchange installation?

You have run the installer with the correct command-line parameters

Wouldn't have thought so but the "/DomainPrep" bit might be case sensitive.

Funnily enough I has done this very thing but had no problems (sadly i have to suffer Windows in my job, but it pays the bills)
