does anyone remember that pbs physics/science show?
I'm going crazy trying to think of what that show was called.
It's basically this old science professor or teacher. He's got graying hair that is a bit messed up and teaches physics and science stuff in this old school looking lab with a blackboard and a bunch of beakers and such around. Oh and he kinda has an accent too, very entertaining and educational as well. I've scoured the web looking to find the name of the show but I'm stumped. It still shows sometimes in the morning, but not on a regular schedule. |
I'm not sure which generation you're remembering this from ...
... but two possibilities are: 1. Bill Nye (the Science Guy) ... or ... 2. Mr. Wizard (aka Don Herbert) |
not bill nye, and mr. wizard is a little before my time. But the style of mr. wizard is closer to this show.

Y'know, Mr. Wizard was on again for a couple of years on the (then-fledgling) Nickelodean channel. Perhaps it's Mr. Wizard you're thinking of after all...

Wait! I think I remember now! Dr. Julius Sumner Miller.
You can google for him and find many tribute sites. I didn't realize that his show ran for so long on ABC. I just remember seeing him on PBS. I don't know for sure if he's who you were thinking of, but you've brought back a lot of memories for me! -Waylena |
