Do you seed for torrents?

hi. so when you download a torrent , are you kind enough to seed it to others?

i usually, hesitate downloading torrents, because i know my upload speed sucks, and my ratio is worse .

when downloading linux iso , i get them from the distro's FTP server, because even if my download gets corrupt , i can use bittorent, (or wget -c URL while i am in the folder with the corrupt iso ?? ) to fix the iso. or i would even prefer downloading it twice from the server than uploading at average 8KB/s

So if you keep your computer on, what do you seed? i seed that windows 7 ultimate AIO dvd that i installed the windows i'm using right now

EDIT: and also sometimes i download the latest ubuntu and seed it ..

Sorry to say it like this, but it sounds like you are condoning to piracy, talking about seeding windows 7 ultimate..... Just my opinion.

Indeed, it looks that way to me too. And another thing... There is a very similar thread in the Slackware forum, if memory serves. Anyhow, closed because we don't need another piracy thread, nor do we need Microsoft's legal team to think that LQ approves of that sort of thing.
