I do to. Some extent for anatomical reasons. In order for me to sit with my legs the 6" apart that the woman quoted without being in pain I would have to "re-arange myself, downstairs" before sitting which would likely have me arested for public indecency. Sure, some people overdo it but I think the suggestion of only 6" or less is ridiculous unless they want men grabbing their groins as they sit down every time.

Ahem, yes, quite all about the, ern, "thighs" as it were.
I do think some men make a meal of it unnecessarily but O also think there are a coupld of things, ahem, the woman quoted forgot to take into account. I'm not sure I would go as far as to call her sexist for the 6" comment but I do think it shows some, quite understandable, lack of anatomical knowledge.
