Do you know any good Linux 3D discussion forum? Please advice, I know that Google excists, but so far I have not been really lucky while searching.

Linux 3d? Do you mean a 3d graphical desktop or enabling 3d in games or writing 3d stuff?

I meand 3d modeling and CAD, pure engineering stuff and 3d modeling and animation.

No, then. I suspect that that sort of thing tends to be restricted within companies. Have you tried the AutoCAD or Blender homepages? There may be links there. Or even university sites?

Here is a site which may have some useful links. The site is mostly French, but some of the areas have English translations.

I use Blender a lot, and have found the community to have many Linux users. The forums are at www.elysiun.com

There may be some information and links through the POV-ray site. www.povray.org

News Forge had a thread about this topic a while back.

There were some pretty good software links, but zero for forums.
