diff output format in two columns (/dev/ttyN)
 

Hi: what were the options that make diff to output in two columns, each file in a column?

The diff man page shows the -y option as "Output in two columns" - is that what you're asking?

Oh yes, thank you. I was temporarily using 'diff --minimal --context=1 --ignore-all-space'.

EDIT: Honestly, the output was in color, I remember. And the lines were not folded. Color does not matter.
