You could buy a desktop from somewhere, and just add a video card. If your looking at high end, may be better to build your own.

Integrated graphics wouldn't use all 8GB of RAM. It's usually limited to a small fraction of it. RAM for video cards is usually faster than system RAM. (GDDR5 vs DDR3)

If you're going to play GPU demanding games, I would say build your own rig.

A high end video card will most likely be physically to big for a store bought desktop, and might not even have a power supply to properly power it.

Desktops such as Alienware machines would obviously be what you want for gaming, but you could possibly build your own for cheaper.

Building a machine is easy, just have to research the components you buy.
