I cant get into my desk top themes icon that is in my control panel. When i click on it nothing happens. Can anyone please tell me what happend or what i need to do to fix it? I am tired of looking at this same desk top pic. I have windows 98 if that helps. Thanks a bunch.

Well it tells us that you are lost
This is in no way linux related but try going into "Control Panel -> Add Remove Programs -> Windows Components" Find "Desktop Themes" (under accesories I think) uncheck the box next to it then ok the next few windows. Insert your Win98 disk as needed. Then reboot. Now repeat the above procedure but check the box instead. Hopeully when you reboot the Themes/Theme Manager will have been reinstalled.

You mean you are using windows 98 Operating system?
If you are then just right click the desktop and choose properties from there go though the menus and find what you want to change.
A little advice. After windows crashes, gives you the blue screen of death and you get " this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down " 5 times a day Think of switching to Linux, youve already found the place to get help

Desk top theme Help
