Damn Small Linux site hacked!

I was looking for an image on Google and one of the results just so happened to have been hosted on http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/ but it looks like the site was hacked! That was definitely a surprise to me.

Damn... that sucks the big one.

I like DSL too. . . too bad.

I wonder if the DSL webserver running DSL? From what I understand the httpd server on the DSL cd may not be that 'safe'. . .more of a temp solution if anything.

As posted in other thread, I notified the admin about his site. Thanks goodness for whois huh.

:D :D :D :D

Had to be a bad password. Surely he runs Linux if he serves his own site.

edit: I corrected my bad typing, see below. If you have a problem with that, get a life, with the hacker I guess. :D

Defacing can be serious - especially if one turns on a blender in the script kiddies face. :D Sooner or later they gonna run into the wrong person, especially with their cowardish tendency to show off. :D

Then defacing won't be solved by a backup. :D

I read once where someone 'messed' with a person that deals with the DNS servers. That was shall we say a "bad idea". He sort of had problems getting his internet to work. It sort of come first hand too. I think he learned his lesson. I can't remember where I read that though. It was a good while back.

It was sort of funny though. Sort of puts things in perspective.

I just wish their keyboards would catch on fire and give their fingers a good cooking. Sort of slow them down a bit if they have to poke at the keyboard instead of type on it.

Later
