Ever since I heard that there was a Knoppix-based distribution named Gnoppix, I have been thinking of goofy distribution names in order to mock the trend of mutating distributions' names based on some alteration to them. You can call these childish if you like, but I kept thinking that whoever invented the name "Gnoppix" was begging for this. Disregard, in the case of Debian-based distros, the redundancy.
-Gloppix
-Gnoopix
-Noobix: a distribution whose messages are all in noob-speak.
-Snobbix: a distribution for snotty Linux users.
-Mandribian: what Mandriva might have been called if the rumors of its becoming Debian-based had been true.
-UUSE (ooze): Ubuntu + SUSE. Or, SUbuntu.
-Feduse: Fedora + SUSE; or, FUSE.
-Damn Huge: Damn Small + Debian
-Bloody Small = British version of Damn Small.
-Febian = Fedora + Debian.
-Mandroppix = Mandriva + Knoppix.
-Sloppix = SLAX + Knoppix.
-Ubupis = Ubuntu = MEPIS; or, Meptu
-Mandriuse = Mandriva + SUSE
-Debiuntu
-Debiepis; or, Mebian
-Mebiuntu = Mebian + Ubuntu
-Slabuntu = SLAX + Ubuntu; or, SLUB
-Explosion = any Linux distro + Windows.
