I had a Facebook account that I never used... then I heard about employers screening prospective employees by their Facebook account and tried to delete my account... you can't... you can "deactivate" your account but even then you get messages to the associated email account if someone posts on the wall or sends a message. Something doesn't seem ethical about a private company owning MY personal information forever. Z/Z

They did the same for me with the Playstation network (it is for playing PS3 games online). They said I couldn't delete my account. I argued with them and said that they have to delete my account if I do not agree to the new EULA they posted (an unethical one). They finally agreed.

For the most part government wants people to believe they have more power than they actually have. The cheapest way for governments to convince the public it has more power and control than it actually has is to use fear and false media. This isn't terribly effective on hackers because hackers are intelligent and not easily deceived.

Fortunately, because hackers are intelligent and community-oriented they rarely take part in malicious attacks on anyone despite the false reports of many media outlets attempting to garner ratings and participate in the government-sponsored fear campaigns. For the most part increasing restrictions on the internet and by extension hackers would stifle technological development as hackers are the spear-head of technological development as they are without exception the most talented and professional technology experts on the planet.

Combined with the fact that all great hackers are born and not created...( while most great hackers may have had formal computer-oriented educations I can also assure you that not all people who get formal computer-oriented educations become great hackers ) ... so an all Windows-user society would be severely technologically stunted.

All scientific advancements are reliant on advancements in technology so crippling the internet ( the place where almost all technological advancement is fostered ) would cripple advancements in all aspects of science such as medicine, physics, chemistry and the list goes on.

It is much better to be prepared than afraid ... I will not over-estimate their power nor will I under-estimate their stupidity. Z/Z

That's what I was saying about the coming dark age.

Never fear. Instead try to understand. They may try to look stupid and incompetent, but they are not stupid. The only way in which they are stupid is that they believe that Sauron shares power.

Orly? You don't think they are stupid? I will admit saying they are stupid is misleading. It would be moar accurate to say they stupid, lazy and morally bankrupt.

I will give you a prime Canadian example of ruling class 1337-ness. I decided last year to test the preconceptions Canadians have about the justice system and those that presume to be protecting our "rights and freedoms". The first major misconception is that every citizen has rights and freedoms... this is wrong... if you have large sums of money you can rent a lawyer who will tell you what those rights and freedoms are and for an even larger amount of money you can rent that lawyer to "try" and defend those rights and freedoms. May 14th 2011 -- a drug dealer associated my landlord entered my apartment, assaulted me and when the police arrived they told me to let the landlord handle the matter... the landlord showed up and told me was going to show me alternate living quarters and proceeded to drive me around aimlessly until he got the signal from his men that my apartment had been completely looted whereupon I was promptly dropped off at a homeless shelter.

Much of my property was broken or never returned... the police did not press charges against anyone in this situation. It should be noted my then landlord was incredibly wealthy and his brother owns a law firm.

In an effort to determine how far the corruption permeated the Canadian Justice (or Just-Us) System I allowed myself to get caught stealing less than $8 worth of groceries... passively resisted apprehension by a loss prevention officer whereupon I was assaulted in the grocery store parking lot and forcibly escorted to a police station. In order to be a pure test of the court system's integrity I had to represent myself. In the Crown's disclosure I was given before trial the police had labeled me a "Police Hater" because I chose to exercised my right to remain silent during questioning.

Upon entering the courtroom I was very bluntly informed by the judge that I would not be afforded any form of assistance with defending myself... this was a gross understatement... in point of fact the Crown had no evidence and only the testimony of one witness who was purgering herself on the stand. But that was fine because the Judge was very eager to fight the case against me on the Crown's behalf... the Crown said next to nothing and the judge summarily dismissed any arguments I presented and in a very unethical move actually challenged me to take the stand ( which I was not going to do because unlike everyone else in the courtroom I was not going to sacrifice my integrity for less than $8 worth of groceries )

On a positive note I did get to insult the intellectual elite when I presented a strong case based on the "American" legal model in a "Canadian" courtroom. Both the American and Canadian Just-Us systems are based on the BNAA ( British North America Act ) so many of the legal tools are similar. Canadian judges are notorious for corrupt acts when it comes to dealing with the upper class so I dressed-down for the occasion ( which wasn't hard since my injuries force me to subsist on welfare ) . Considering all the hardship I went through to find out the truth I think watching a member of the elite ruling class squirm on the bench at the hands of a welfare reject made it all worthwhile.

I have evidence aplenty to back up the events described above and even events I did not describe for the sake of brevity and I can post it online free of charge if anyone is still in doubt about the intelligence and moral integrity of your ruling classes. For the most part I steer clear of the monkeys and their s&%$ storms nowadays.

For those that may be curious... my highest level of completed formal education is High School. Z/Z

I wasn't really talking about the legal system. Yes, that is completely corrupt and incredibly stupid and inefficient.

I choose the legal system as an example because in theory they have the most moral integrity. I could of given examples of corruption in the medical or political fields as well and moar but I figure the legal example is fitting. Z/Z
