Hi,

Can anyone help me to configure CISCO Aironet 1200 series wireless access point?

My current network scenario is:

I have 2 laptops and a desktop, but only one internet connection, connected thru an ADSL modem. I have an Aironet 1200 series Access point which I would like to connect to the modem and share internet to these systems.

As I am new to CISCO devices, I don't know how to meet my needs. I connected the AP successfully with hyperterminal, but dont know commands to be issued for the configuration.

Please help me on this . . . . .

IIRC the cisco stuff are just access points, they are not like the linksys/belkin/whomever wireless routers, you will need a seperate router.
I ran a 340 at home years before the comined wireless routers were available and had an old router connected in front of it. later I switched over from b to g and just bought one of those linksys $60 deals and replaced my router, switch and access point. I sold those on ebay then.
