And that is any worse than most of the crap that goes on in the world how?

No one gives a crap, that is why the world is the way it is.

Yea, I agree we (the USA) should not be wasting money and lives policing the world and there is really nothing we could do about this, well actually there is, but the large money making, greedy slimeball, profiteers always look the other way if it gets in the way of theyr profits.
Just imagine if doing the right thing, Helping people, Saving the environment and Peace........... were profitable?

Or

People were just not greedy, ego oriented, selfish and power hungry.
