I'm trying to extend the Linux model to the Real World:
url removed Would appreciate you guys feedback. Thanks. |
Although I can hardly believe a senior member like you do this, it looks an awful lot like advertising. Reported.

Having promises and absolutely no data (not even dummy fake-latin data) does not give me confidence.
Also, you have hardened it against SQL injection and the other common vulnerabilities, right? |

BUT IN MY VIEW NOT BAD IN ITSELF BECAUSE A GUY HAS TO START SOMEHOW. This "fake-latin data" business could well be interpreted as padding and I am sure that there would be posters just waiting to pounce on it. resetreset: Like all budding enterpreneurs, you should now set about getting your first customer. Hard slog ahead and not all click mode. It's not clear to me what segment you are addressing. Is it going to be a job portal or is a way for VCs to meet enterpreneurs? All the best. Also get rid of the casual comments in your web site that don't come across well. Eg. Quote:

Thanks. What is "fake-latin data" btw? |
dugan also made a good suggestion.
ie. hardening against SQL injection and other common vulnerabilities. fake-latin data. You must have seen examples of text that start with Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet... this is to fill up dummy contents into a display to showcase the characteristics (of the display). It is latin - an ancient european language - that is taught as a second language in posh western schools. (Much like Sanskrit in India). I just googled and got http://www.lipsum.com/ for more details. OK |
Dear resetreset,
I have removed the URL from the post. We cannot allow members to post links to their sites. This will make too much traffic. Aditionally, the website you post is not really related to LQ. If you have questions about this policy, mail me, any other moderator or the site admin. |
