Can You Suggest any newbie books on Computers and Linux?

I need to read very basic books on computers and Linux; as even " Linux For Dummies " is giving my old brain a hard time.

One way or another; I intend to, someday, be able to understand this stuff.

The LQ Book review page is one place to start. Also check out www.tldp.org and RUTE.
