Can I boot install suse from a zip disk?

On the suse website it said that I could install linux from a hardrive. Could I install it from a zip disk?

Umm... how are you going to cram all the stuff on there? Is this the ftp install?

750 meg zip disk and most packages installed later.

I'd like to make a install <ftp?> on a 80mm CD..

Wow. Didn't know they have 750mb Zip disks now. You probably can install from a Zip, much in the same way it is done for an hd, by mounting it.

Those mini cd's are ~200mb, and the ftp install iso is only ~20mb. So the ftp will go on there easily.

Put it on one of those business card cds.. lol
