I need to
very quickly i.e. today locate a Content Management System
software as a service, i.e. a third-party service provider, who can quickly and very reliably accomplish the following:
"I want to reserve a new domain-name and, all in one smooth step, quickly install a one-page 'landing page' on it, based on an existing template or library of material which I have stored in my account with the service provider."
I don't care about ... e-commerce, social networking, blah-de-blah, and I don't want to have to go through a lot of configuring. I want to be able to set up a landing-page (target for an advertising campaign ... client is a professional spammer
well, almost).
It should become something that I can then pass-off reliably to the client's staff, not necessarily the brainier ones, and there are
no techhie-smart ones to be
had.
It would be great to say: "Enter the domain-name, select the template from one of the fifteen you've set up, push Go. ...
presto. Now go look at the content page, edit a few things, press Save. Within 24 hours you're on line with that one-page. It's somewhere on their servers and you don't give the slightest whit where.
"It Just Works.™" + "Presto It's Done.™" =
Perfect.®
This is the simplest possible requirement, it will be executed
en masse (but not automatically or anything), and it will not go beyond this. I don't want anyone to have to flip-off any options that they'll never, ever use.
One important requirement, though, is that it needs to be
mobile-device aware. I need to be able to specify pages that will appear if you're on a mobile browser vs. ones that appear on a laptop. Same page, different content choices.
I'm not running the computer; don't want to, must not. So this is not strictly a "Linux question" but I figure the folks around here are the most likely to know. Many of you have ground your way through a selection-process just like this ... tell me the name of the
winner.
