Bush wants outer space now

PRESIDENT GEORGE Bush junior has signed a piece of paper to claim the right to police outer space.

This means that if anyone he doesn't like tries to go there, he'll tell them not to.

He doesn't say he'll nuke them if they do. But he doesn't rule it out either.

"This policy emphasises that the United States is committed to peaceful uses of space by all nations and that space systems enjoy the right of free passage," a White House spokesman said.

"Protection of space assets does not imply some sort of forceful action," he added.

Don't get me wrong, I dispise that hairless ape, but I think you are being a bit of an alarmist.

Actually it says that he will defend against attacks on US assets in space. You know, sort of like what he does here on earth. Big freegin' whoop...

Ah, but space is the next frontier. Can't you just feel the magnitude of power here. I would should sure feel powerful if I had the capacity to set policies on outer space.

Not sure how long a US politics thread will last here...

Shrikant; Not sure exactly what your point is--- BTW, he is not "junior". Daddy Bush is George H. W. and "dubya" is just George W.
