Burning (CD-RW) MP3 files

I have an audio book that I'd like to burn. The D/L files are divided into several folders (1-12) and each folders contains several MP3-files, These files are all named in the same way, Track01 -> up to Track13.

How should I do to burn these files so that it become a "book"?

I was thinking of merging all files together in a big, single file and then burn it but it must be another, simplier way?

Combine the files together to make an iso file.. create the iso and then use that to burn to cdr..

I noticed that the "ripper" had included stereo sound making each file unneccesary big (everything does'nt fit in a single disc).

Is there a way to "strip" stereo sound to mono sound?
