just reading our local paper from the other day it turns out a 52ft tv screen in our city centre crashed after a power cut the other day it booted half way to windows befor crashing and displaying the BSoD (the newspaper called it the Blue screen of doom!!!!) the BSOD was left up for over 6 hours he he he!!!! befor some one reastarting the machine and left it displaying the message over clocking failed in bios for a further 4 hours he he he!!!! later on in the article it went on to say that this hapend only 8 days after the council had to remove an infered reciever after some one got hold of a device that was compatable as the computer that controles it is stored at the rear of the screen

bt exchanges i defo agrea with you there we are tied down with crappy karoo for an isp and cant get any other isp without a bt line but then we will be to far away from a bt exchange to get broadband. realy our isp Karoo is the worst i hav ever known there servers crash at least once a week!!

also you cant always connect so i will ring their help line up and they try telling my that my computer is connected to the internet even though i have switched it off and unpluged it from both powere and the phone line!! and then they try telling me they will send my an e-mail to prove that i am connected thats great but i cant get on the internet to recieve or view the e-mail. those people realy stress me out!!

they r cheep on phone calls though 5.5pence for a local call no matter when or how long you are on the phone

and i read in the local news paper last night that this place has just recieved 3 awards!!! dont know how they managed it! everbody who has an internet connection an Hull and the sorounding area hates karoo and want another ISP but karoo have the manopoly of ISPs in our area you either can have karoo as your ISP or you dont get a internet connection and when ever you ring the helpline which is reguraly (usualy to find out when there servers will be back on line so i can get on the net) its always busy and takes about 1/2 -1 hour to get through to them!!

surly ther must be something to stop them monoplising the ISP in our area like with what happend to BT when they was manopolising the ISPs and wouldnt let anybody els use ther exchanges and now they have to
