Wouldn't surprise me if this is true.
I read that they did the identical thing with monkeys about a year ago.
The chimp's could control a mechanical arm or crane with their thoughts, IIRC.
I knew it would only be a matter of time before they did it for humans.

TV! I've been educated!
well... I saw a program on TV.... so it must be true!
yeah there was that guy and some other devices, like even stuff to interface with a GUI.
It's all quite simple when you think about it, all you do is read a few electrical signals and say, "ok think 'left'"
then the comp knows that when those electrical signals come through, it means left.
A simple matter of calibration, and there are devices that are not implants, only pads for your forehead.... and I saw that the military had been trying out some pilot applications w/ the brain control stuff.
CRAZY!
