You know, why doesn't he concentrate on making an OS that won't let itself crash, first? I mean, come on. Does anyone really want their car running Windows XP (or 2k, or Longhorn, whatever...)?

Just imagine what a buffer overflow exploit with arbitrary code execution could do to one of those...

Bill and his minions could be the first human crash test dummies

or it could look like this

/me is amazed

its sad how they think they can make software is crash proof a car.

its even sadder that they push "new innovative" *ripped off* "technology" **patented software**, yet still have no clue how to program a "hello world" program, without 100 critical security vulnerabilities.

but, if they insist on building a castle over quicksand, then force everyone to the 900th floor, its their problem when people cant breath, on the bright side tho, there will be excellent info on you, down to your birth mark on your bum ..... maybe in 1000 years it will be in a museum

owell

/me gets back to wishing a few meteors hit all the main car making plants .....

if only ...

I'll feel very safe when driving a car that has been crash-proofed by Microsoft.

lol, cause when the car is crashing, and it hits head first, the first thing to go would be the camera on the front. once the connection goes, the tv screen becomes blue and BAM!

....

Apple sues microsoft in use of "Dashboard" in its upcoming "Microsoft Car 2005."

Why don't we worry about fuel-economy or alternative fuel methods first and leave the crashing to the people behind the wheel.

/me is really beginning to become sick with the amount of technology in things that it just shouldn't be in...

What I'm worried about is what happens when your stuck in traffic and the screensaver kicks in and then lights suddenly turn green? How fast can you type in the password and how many attempts will you make?
