Well, in this case you must be living in some kind of alternate universe that has different version of Microsoft (compared to the world I'm located in). Other than that your post looks like a trolling attempt. Bye.

Then I must be in the same place he is. Maybe it is not us that is in the alternate universe.

There are multiple problems with your question that would take too long to explain.
Anyway... you have never provided a reasonable argument in this discussion, so I will not waste my time on you.
If you wish to "troll fo lulz", I'd suggest to try 4chan or social networks.
Added to ignore list.

There are differences between opinions build on facts, and opinions build on FUD and fanboyism. Last post to you, up to my ignore list.

Now ain't that just too bad !!! FACT: Microsoft was started by technically illegal practices, FACT : Microsoft has in the past done anything to maintain the monopoly on computer operating system. FACT; There have been numerous anti-trust lawsuits brought against them FACT; The internal memos show how little M$ wants to admit faults with their product let alone fix them.FACT; If it were left to M$ the development of OSs would have stopped with XP, by their OWN Admission! DO YOU WISH FOR MORE?

Maybe that wouldn't have been such a bad idea. XP was probably the most functional of all their pieces of crap thus far; perhaps instead of wasting resources developing new crappy OS's every other year, if they just would have worked on updating and perfecting the one that somewhat worked, they might have had something by now that was at least half as good as a Linux OS.
But hey....they certainly can't attract new customers (or get existing customers to upgrade) by offering functionality (since they're not very good at that)- so I guess they have to shoot for the new-and-different-eye-candy route.......

I never had any problems with Microsoft either. I just prefer Linux, that's all. Not everyone who uses Linux has a bone to pick with Microsoft.

I also have nothing against the windows OS. However, I don't like the company Microsoft because of their unfair business ways.
I prefer linux and freebsd more though.

you guys stop calling names!!! we all are on LQ and are on the same planet..how the heck would LQ be available in parallel universes though on the forum guys from parallel universes meet each other?
you , are too mad at ms for some reason, and we are not. we just use linux because we consider it more suitable than windows would be.
though there are easier versions of linux, the majority [quote needed] of people use linux because of the extensive power it offers in it's CLI . for example, dd is a very awesome command, as split and cat are. there are thousands of good commands for linux. IMO windows has a very limited CLI, and you can't modify it's core., but i'm fine with that...
