At least it was a good research to put the post here.

Half of the people felt that straight away, it really hurt so much!

One of my boss said that thousand years ago: "I wont let Windows NT server rule this building ever!"
He said that because he didn't know it and it was easy to blame it than study it. So I think later said the same thing about Linux.
He belived in Novell and there you go, Linux killed it. (IMHO)

I have now merged this megathread with the thread previously known as "I Don't Like Linux" since they pretty much do the same thing.

Wait, why? This is not an "I don't like Linux" thread at all. 90% of us were talking about how great Linux is compared to Windows. With the "I don't like Linux", people could be more interested in Mac over Windows and Linux which was NOT the point of this thread. It was how Windows and Linux differed hence the name. Bad move IMO.

And just why was that "I don't like Linux" thread posted anyway? It seems as though the thread was just out there to praise Microsoft just because the user(s) who posted it weren't familiar with Linux, not that they had problems with it. That's just ridiculous.

Some people don't like Linux and I know a lot of people who will swear by Windows. My Computer Programming teacher is one of those people. My parents don't like Linux, and they love Windows because it does what they need. Problem Kenny? Not everyone is going to agree with you and you need to learn that or you will NOT get far anywhere.

They are entitled to their opinions, but just because they may feel a sense of insecurity with Linux (which is really an irrational phobia) doesn't mean they should troll about it on LQ, a forum dedicated to Linux users. If they want to troll about how much they hate Linux they should do it on some Microsoft fanboy club (such as Linsux).

Ok Kenny there are always going to be trolls, no matter whether it is for Linux, M$, Mac,or any variation of an operating system. This is just how mankind is if it weren't think of how quiet the world would be ,no wars, no bickering, not even an argument! boy what a boring place that would be (kind of Orwellian place)!
