ATI cards on Nvidia SLI Motherboard

I am close to buying a new motherboard, but am confused to whether you can use two ATI cards in "Crossfire" on an nforce4 motherboard? Is this possible, or does the motherboard need to have an ATI chipset? Can I only use nvidia Cards on the motherboard? I was just wondering.

Thanks,
James

Nope.

Similarly, Nvida requires sli compatible motherboards as well.
