Are you sure you want to quit ?

Who was the meat-head that decided that when you click to exit a game a little box comes up and says

Quote:
Are you sure you want to quit ?
why on earth would I "want" to quit
If I am clicking that little x in the top right corner
it's because I "have" to quit
I'm late for work or something

who exits a game because they want to ?

100% agree. Fortunately, many games allow you to press [Esc] many times until you have quit for good.

hahaha. although the "X" can be pressed by accident sometimes, and if your in the middle of a game and have gotten to a high level, you would absoloutly be pissed if it quits without comfirmation.
so i can see why it ask. lol.

At least with KDE apps it has a little checkbox, which is like "Don't bug me again. I don't make mistakes".

I think you missed my point
Yes I understand it wants confirmation
so how 'bout a box that says
Quote:
Master, please confirm function - escape from game
or even
Quote:
Do you really have to quit ?
but when a game asks you if you want to quit
there is no option that says
Quote:
well I don't want too, but I'll end up homeless, divorced and unemployed if I don't..... but I'll be back
