Are web hosting support companies belong to IT or they are under KPO.
I am currently working in a company where provide support for web,DNS,mail and Mysql servers? My question is,is my(this type) of company belongs to IT or KPO?

I didn't ask about my company alone Mr.AlucardZero. I asked in general about those type of companies.First read my subject properly then answer Sharing of knowledge is lost with people like you.

ask your manager. how do you expect us to know a) what KPO is b) how your company is structured?

No offence but this is your 2nd post about your company and your career (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-linux-811623/)

Whilst we're happy to answer such philosophical questions I suggest you get them all out in one thread.

We're more driven towards helping users with learning Linux and troubleshooting problems.

My advice to you is that you have to start at the bottom and learn about how the IT industry works, before you can plan/decide what is the right path for you to follow.

KPO: Knowledge Process Outsourcing.

Outsourcing IT and 'Knowledge Worker' stuff.

editing your post to reply to replies is impolite.

The answer to your questions is: it depends. In other words your question is impossibly vague.

Correct...
siran*;
Please do not do that. Further, Alucard's response to you was actually appropriate.

Hi siran*

You said it. Web hosting support company is IT. KPO is specific business knowledge.

So your company is in IT only.

End

Moved: This thread is more suitable in <GENERAL> as it's neither Linux related nor technical at all, and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.
