Whitehat,

Yes everybody knows XBOX is a microsnot product but it ROCKS!!!!
Whitehat, you need to get a clue. XBOX is 180 bucks and is basiclly a 733mhz super graphics card doing 60fps+ with all the visual eye candy. They don't even make a video card that fast (yet) and when they do, its gonna cost $500. I think I would stick with the XBOX on that one......Also when doom 3 or half life 2 comes out, you're going to HAVE to upgrade your video card (ANOTHER $400) just to get decent framerates out of the game. If you're a gamer which I guess you are not, constantly throwing hundreds of dollars into your PC every year just so you can play the hottest new stuff gets a bit costly.

QUOTE "I can build a PC and have internet access and play FPS games with a KB and Mouse better, and also pay the same or less for games, and have a Box that does many things.....and I don't have to pay to play.....

People raved so much on how good HALO looked.....and it don't look as good as some of the PC games I've played. XBOX is already obselete IMHO.

Then I thought HALO 2 was supposed to look real good. It looks the same as HALO but some different levels and guns and such. What a waste"

You have not seen the halo 2 trailer then......And BTW, check out the Starcraft: Ghost trailer too.....
If you think it still looks the same, you need your eyes checked. I have been a PC gamer for a very long time and i have NEVER seen ANY PC game look or play so good...........

I got XBOX live last week, I agree it's a ripoff at 60 Euro but I did get a headset & online demo of a bike game & mech assault & I do think it's great.
Last year I bought a PC game & had to install windows on a partition & nearly f****d up my linux partition, thats when I decided to just bite the bullet & get an xbox.
I'm also amp2000 on xbox live in case anyone cares
