Any Linux programs like Snagit?

Hi,
Are there any linux desktop or video capture programs like Snagit?
http://www.techsmith.com/products/snagit/whatsnew.asp

This is a REALLY good program for capturing, so if there is a program like this for linux, does anyone know what it is?
Thanks!

if you want to get the screen shots, you can use gimp, or any of the other more screen shot only type programs, or if you wanted to make a video out of a particular window, you might try lives (i tried it out in gentoo, (it was masked, and i think still is... and for a few good reasons, like things seeming lacking) ... but there was 1 feature that cough my eye, apparently it can capture the output of a window and turn it into video for you

If all you want is a screenshot and using KDE just open a console and type " ksnapshot ". :)
